St. Francis De Sales English Medium School is a Catholic minority institution established and administrated by the religious Society – the missionaries of St. Francis De Sales. It is a private school. The school was established in the year 2009 by MSFS fathers collaboration with FCC sisters under the rights and powers granted to religious and linguistic minorities by the constitution of India. In the establishment of the school the society has the following aims and purposes in mind.
1.The prime purpose of the establishment of this catholic institution is the education of children irrespective of caste, creed, tribe and community.
2. Making education an agent of social awareness and change.
3. A deeper commitment to the idea ‘a definite option for the poor. “To visualize education as helping the child to live and enjoy each day to the full in the rigors of life and preparation for distant future.
St. Francis De Sales considered knowledge as the eight sacrements. For our founder father peter Mermier, formation of any kind work of love , and hence his advice to teachers” –love the pupils , be mother to them by your tenderness and father by your prudence” We also believe the “Heart of the education is the education of the heart itself”.
